Dan Bilzerian says it’s ‘not healthy’ to be as big as The Rock

‘It’s unhealthy to sustain that level of mass.’

Dan Bilzerian has suggested that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is ‘not genuine in his public life’ and that it is ‘not healthy’ to be as big as him.

The 41-year-old businessman, who has a keen interest in fitness and weightlifting, has argued that it is ‘unhealthy’ for people in their 50s to carry a significant amount of muscle mass.

Speaking to YouTuber Derek on More Plates More Dates to discuss the topic, he said of the Rock: “It’s unhealthy to sustain that level of mass. They show people are giants, like basketball players. It’s just not healthy to be that big.”

Johnson – who has become one of the biggest movie stars in the world after his impressive professional wrestling career – is known for his big frame. At 6-foot-5, the former American football player carries an immense amount of muscle.

However, Bilzerian believes that Johnson is ‘too famous or rich’ to be genuine in his public life.

“I do whatever the f**k I want. He does not. Unless like he is playing this character forever is what he wants. I don’t think that’s what he wants,” he added.

“The thing I don’t like about The Rock is I don’t feel like he gets to be authentic.”

Bilzerian, who is well-known for his lavish lifestyle, also suggested that The Rock is unable to say what he truly believes as he argues that, sometimes, public figures are required to watch what they say in order to avoid controversy.

He stated: “You’re not hearing what he wants to say, you’re hearing what his teams put together.”

While Bilzerian’s comments about Johnson are certainly interesting, it does appear that his intention was to question how someone is able to live in such a way, rather than critiquing his character or personality.
