Man United complain about ‘stifling heat’ in Wolfsburg dressing room

Ahead of their crunch tie in Germany against Wolfsburg, the heat was very much on Manchester United.

In fact, according to a report in the Daily Mail, United were said to be unhappy with the temperature in the away dressing room at the Volkswagen Arena.

It is said to be contributing factor to the team’s sorry display against the Germans, as they were unceremoniously dumped out of the Champions League.

Although it was said to be no warmer than it usually is for Bundesliga fixtures, United complained about what the Daily Mail describes as ‘stifling’ conditions.

A 3-2 defeat, coupled with PSV Eindhoven’s victory over CSKA Moscow, meant that Louis van Gaal’s side tumbled out of the competition and into the Europa League.

So remember – the only tactic you need to beat Man United is to put the central heating on.
