Fans lose it after spotting young Beyoncé cameo in Kanye documentary

Throwback Thursday never looked so good

Fans have absolutely lost it after spotting a young Beyoncé cameo in Kanye West’s Jeen-Yuhs documentary which comes to you in three parts courtesy of Netflix.

West’s life story has taken centre stage in the form of a three-part Netflix docuseries, with episode one concluding at a Jay Z concert in Chicago back in August 2002. Fans of the artist will know that this day solidified West’s place in rap royalty as he signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella record label, receiving the illustrious Roc-A-Fella chain.

Filmed by cameraman Coodie Simmons, the angle moves to focus on a certain pop star chatting with her friends. This baby-faced Beyoncé boasts braids synonymous with her Destiny’s Child-era.

There’s a brief and fleeting moment where the Lemonade artist makes eye contact with the camera, reassuring viewers that it is indeed Queen Bey herself.

At the time, Beyonce and Jay Z were only rumoured to be dating but such footage proves they were at least close during that time. The future couple would release their first collab, ’03 Bonnie & Clyde, later that year. The rest is practically gospel – and Jay Z and Beyonce continue to go strong this day – unlike West and Kim Kardashian, of course.

“Beyonce!!!! That’s all… that’s the tweet!!!” wrote one fan alongside the clip. “She was so cute,” another quipped.

Another fan wrote: “He caught her off guard and she still looked perfect, this woman I tell you.”

This comes as Kim Kardashian begs her soon to be ex-husband to stop putting her new boo, Pete Davidson, in danger.

Despite thanking him for taking down a number of inflammatory posts, Kim reiterated that there are “dangerous people out there”, adding that “this is scary and it doesn’t have to be.”
