The football being played by Stoke City in recent weeks is a long way from the ‘rugby team’ tags that were associated with the club in their early days in the Premier League.
Although they may sit in eleventh, they’re just six points from a Champions League place and recently caught the eye by outplaying a Manchester City side that many are tipping for the title.
Bojan Krkić has been one of their key performers, and the 25-year-old is now being linked with a move away from the Britannia.
The former Barcelona and Roma man has been impressive so far this season and has alerted the attention of three Premier League teams.
According to The Sun, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are all tracking him. Gary Neville, now in charge at Valencia, is also said to be interested in Bojan – who could cost £15m.
Although this would represent a huge profit for Stoke, who signed him for less than £1m, it’s unlikely that Mark Hughes will be willing to part with the Spaniard.
