A non-league footballer fell victim to a hilarious prank after one of his teammates pulled down his trousers while he was being interviewed on camera.

Macauley Wilson, who is the captain of Northern Premier League side Bamber Bridge, was the unfortunate victim as he spoke to the press following a 4-2 defeat to South Shields.

While conducting his interview, Wilson’s teammate Paul Dawson crept up behind him and pulled down his trousers in front of everyone.

Those in front of him quite literally saw Wilson in the flesh as Dawson ran off laughing, while the journalists interviewing him diverted their eyes away out of respect.

Thankfully, for Dawson’s sake, his teammate was in good spirits and saw the funny side to it himself as he walked off – still with everything on display.

The internet shared Wilson’s lighter side of the video too and offered their takes on Twitter.

One user said: “2 things you can’t beat…. a de-kegging and kicking the chair away when someone sits down- always a barrel of laughs.”

Another person tweeted: “Can’t beat a kegging.”

A third person said: “No matter where, no matter when, no matter how. Doing this to one of your mates will always be funny,” before a laughing face emoji.

“The camera being in play is just an added bonus hahaha.”

Another user tweeted: “You know he will always have to sleep with one eye open now just in case you get him back.”
