What an incredible moment for Eriksen
Christian Eriksen scored a spectacular goal for Denmark on his return to the site of his cardiac arrest, bagging Denmark’s third in a 3-0 friendly win over Serbia on Tuesday
Captain Eriksen
The midfielder, who captained the side at the Parken Stadium – the ground where he suffered a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 – made it 3-0 after half-time as Kasper Hjulmand’s side raced into a convincing lead against Serbia.
The 30-year-old Brentford playmaker picked the ball up on the edge of the area and unleashed a low shot into the bottom corner.

It came at the same stadium where Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch last summer, where paramedics were required to use a defibrillator in order to restart his heart.
Eriksen scored with his first touch after coming on as a substitute in the 2-4 friendly defeat against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Saturday night.
Dominant Denmark
The home side took the lead through Joakim Maehle, whose strike deflected past the opposition goalkeeper in the 15th minute.
Jesper Lindstrøm added a second eight minutes after the break, with Denmark dominating proceedings.
The crowd gave Eriksen a wonderful reception and chanted his name as he was replaced in the 80th minute – with Kasper Schmeichel kissing him on the head as he handed over the captain’s armband to the Leicester City shot-stopper.
