The internet can be a very cruel place when you lose a game of football.
It wasn’t long ago that everything that Jurgen Klopp touched turned to gold. Now many are revelling in his relative misfortune (despite the fact he has inherited these players and not yet signed a soul).
His Liverpool side’s 3-0 defeat to Watford on Sunday afternoon was a shambles. And Twitter had a ball taking the p*ss.
There was obvious mocking of Adam Bogdan’s performance…
Liverpool fans right now😂 https://t.co/oC25yoQa4z

Whilst Robbie Savage and others evoked the game name of Brendan Rodgers…
Bring back Rodgers 😍😎👍🏻
— Robbie Savage (@RobbieSavage8) December 20, 2015
Brendan Rodgers didn't die for this.

Everton fans laid out the facts in all their starkness..

As others felt there was a level of schadenfreude at play…
I don't support either team, but it's hilarious that LFC fans were full of high jinx after Norwich beat United, then Watford beat them 😂😂

It all made Man United supporters feel a bit better about their lot…

Commentator saying Klopp shouldn't be criticised and be given a chance. Maybe they shouldn't have been so quick to laud him a month ago eh?

And even Liverpool fans agreed it was a bad day at the office…
Stunningly witless performance. Take city and Chelsea games out of this season and #Liverpool has been awful.

Many spoke about the end of Klopp’s ‘honeymoon’ period…
Honeymoon over, Liverpool back to being shite. #klopp

The Klopp honeymoon is well and truly over.

But at least one fan found a silver lining to the embarrassing defeat…
When Liverpool lose 3-0 to Watford but you put Odion Ighalo in your fantasy team because you know we can't defend. pic.twitter.com/tkp7UiFTv7
