Chelsea hoping that Lacazette will walk, man
Jose Mourinho is not only winning the race/procession to the Premier League title, but also the fierce competition for Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette.
The Sun report that Chelsea are in pole position to sign the coveted French international, ahead of the omni-interested Manchester United.
The Blues’ trump card seems to be Loic Remy, who will be used as part of a player plus £15m deal to secure Ligue 1’s leading goalscorer.
Ings can only get better at Old Trafford
Manchester United can console themselves with the news that they’ll get a shiny new striker of their own, in the shape of Burnley’s Danny Ings.
TalkSport reckon the Old Trafford club are in advanced talks with the player’s representatives and a summer deal is all but in the bag.
Although the striker is shortly out of contract, Burnley are still due compensation of around £5m for his services as Ings is under 24, apparently.

Liverpool willing to let Sterling fall in value
The Independent claim that Liverpool will make Raheem Sterling play out the remaining year of his current deal at the club.
Many had assumed that an unwillingness on the player’s part to pen a new contract would force Brendan Rodger’s hand and instigate a sale.
But the Anfield club aren’t in the mood to let the 20-year-old and his agent dictate the youngster’s destiny. Not for another year at least.
