Fury looks like he is going to end his career on a high
Tyson Fury has all but confirmed his retirement from boxing following his sixth round stoppage victory against Dillian Whyte on Saturday night.
The ‘Gypsy King’ secured his victory with a strong right uppercut in front of a sold out 94,000 strong crowd at Wembley Stadium on his homecoming fight.
Fury was able to live up to his tag as the favourite for the heavyweight bout and was well in control for the whole fight against the ‘Body Snatcher’ who failed to cause any significant damage to the Morecambe-born fighter.

The ‘Gypsy King’ dominated in the ring and his winning shot was too much for Whyte as he fell to the ground and struggled to maintain his balance, leaving the referee with no option but to stop the fight and award Fury a well-deserved win.
There had been talk of a unification fight between the winner of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, however the 33-year-old ended those rumours by announcing his retirement.

Fury all but confirmed his retirement from boxing
The build up to the fight saw the ‘Gypsy King’ say he would retire after the fight against Whyte and despite many people refusing to believe him, the legendary fighter seemed to sound true to his word, however he didn’t confirm for definite.
“I promised my lovely wife Paris that after the Wilder three fight that would be it,” he told BT SPORT.
“And I meant it. But I got offered to fight at Wembley, and I believed that I owed it to the fans. To every person in the UK.
“Now it’s all done, I have to be a man of my word. This might be it. This might be the final curtain.
“What a way to go out!”

What does life after boxing look like for Fury?
Although he has yet to definitely confirm his retirement from the sport, Fury has insisted that retirement will see him slip away from the limelight and focus on spending more time with his family.
The ‘Gypsy King has previously gone on record to say that he would like to live in his hometown of Morecambe with his wife Paris and their six children.
Whatever Fury chooses to do, his record of 32-0-1 from 33 professional fights will be well remembered and will go down as one of the best fighters of all time.
