Some have been more successful than others and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher is left in little doubt about who has proven the best value for money.
In his Daily Mail column, Carragher picks Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante as the best signing after arriving from Caen for £5.6 million (€7.5 million).

Kante, however, has been just as influential as Mahrez and Jamie Vardy in Leicester’s rise to the top and another feather in the cap of their scouting department.”
