It’s Mo Farah’s birthday today.
Maybe that’s why he was so eager to finish the Lisbon half marathon as quick as he could.
So quick that he set a new record to become the first British athlete to complete the 13.1-mile distance in under 60 minutes.
In the time it takes to bake a birthday cake (JOE has never baked, so we are just guessing) double Olympic champion Mo had crossed the finish line and probably had his feet up with a cup of tea.
It took the 32-year-old just 59 minutes and 32 seconds to run the race.
