New Tinder study might explain why you aren’t getting matches

Tom Victor

If you’re struggling to translate your Tinder profile into real-life dates, there might be a very simple reason.

According to a study, a large number of users are wearing similar outfits in their profiles, making it tough to stand out.

More than two in every three men opt for neutral colours, according to the study of 12,000 profile photos, while nearly a third opt for a long-sleeved buttoned-down shirt.

The data, published by Mashable, also reveals that 22% of men on Tinder wear a suit in at least one of their photos, and half of those to do so will be suited and booted in their main pic.

So maybe it’s time to ditch the smart look and opt for something a little more unconventional, just to stand out from the crowd.
