Despite his protestations, Jurgen Klopp won’t be allowed to forget his infamous “heavy metal football” quote.
The comment, made during his stint in charge at Borussia Dortmund, might well come under the “stupid things” the Liverpool boss admits to having said over his career.
But it’s followed him around, and the latest analogy from assistant Peter Krawietz will only bring it back to the forefront of people’s minds.
“We are like a music band, with their own instrument,” Krawietz told the Daily Telegraph.
“Jurgen is the band leader, and others are behind him playing the bass guitar or drum. I’m not sure which instrument is mine!”
We suppose it makes a change from the one-man band operated by Steven Gerrard on occasion in recent years.
