If there’s anyone who knows what it takes to be the best, it’s a former Ballon d’Or winner.
During his time at Barcelona, Ronaldinho was named the world’s best player and generally regarded as one of the all-time greats.
Although he was undoubtedly brilliant, the Brazilian forward knew that there was a youngster coming through who would surpass him and become possibly the all-time great.
At least that’s what NBA legend Kobe Bryant claims, saying that Ronaldinho introduced him to Lionel Messi when the Argentine was just 17-years-old by describing him as future greatest footballer of all-time.
More than a decade on, it looks like a pretty astute assessment from Ronaldinho.
