Milner’s crossing over to Arsenal
The Star report that James Milner is ready to snub a massive four-year contract offer worth up to £165,000 a week from Manchester City.
The 29-year-old becomes a free agent next month and therefore City chiefs are powerless to stop him leaving the club for nowt.
Apparently Arsenal have jumped to the head of the queue to sign the former Leeds man, with Roma and Liverpool also interested.
Dzeko Edin for Merseyside
Another player who looks likely to leave the Etihad is Edin Dzeko, who is just cluttering up City’s squad these days.
Liverpool are interested in signing the Bosnian because he’s a Premier League striker so of course they are.
The Mail suggest it would take something in the region of £25m to secure his services, with Chelsea also snooping.
Jose can’t stop Cech bouncing
Jose Mourinho admits that he is ‘powerless’ to stop his second-choice keeper Petr Cech from leaving Stamford Bridge.
The Mirror tell us that Jose is resigned to losing the helmeted one but understands the Czech’s frustration at warming the bench.
This will come as good news to Arsene Wenger who has been heavily linked with the soon-to-be 33-year-old for bloody ages now.
