Angry Ronaldo is incredibly arrogant and disrespectful about his Real Madrid teammates

Real Madrid are floundering in third place in La Liga after slumping to another defeat at the hands of bitter local rivals Atletico at home. The result means that Zinedine Zidane’s side are nine points behind leaders Barcelona in the title race – and Barca have a game in hand.

Antoine Griezmann’s strike was enough to give Atletico the three points and continue their stellar league record at the Bernabeu. After the game, Cristiano Ronaldo gave a bizarre interview where he insinuated that Real would probably be winning the league if all of hisĀ teammates were on his level.

Granted, Ronaldo is a phenomenal athlete and he may technicallyĀ be correct in his assertion, but it won’t do much for team morale or the general atmosphere in the dressing room.

“When you don’t have your best players, it is hard to win. If you don’t have Karim, Pepe and Bale, it’s more complicated.Ā I like to play with Karim, Bale, Marcelo,” explained the Portuguese. “If everyone was at my level, maybe we would be leaders.”
