He is ‘rising to the top’

A celebrity astrologer has predicted who the next England manager will be after consulting her tarot cards.

England have been on the hunt for a new manager since Gareth Southgate resigned following their defeat to Spain in the Euros final.

Inbaal Honigman is a psychic who has been seen on television programs such as Big Brother’s Little Brother, House Busters and Most Haunted and has been Elle Magazine’s astrologer in the UK.

She has said that Graham Potter is likely to land the national team job, which was advertised on the Football Association’s website on Friday.

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, Honigman suggested that ‘the Tarot fancies Graham Potter’ with his tarot card showing that he is ‘rising to the top’.

She said: “The Tarot fancies Graham Potter in the big job. The card which depicts the Goat, which is a card of opportunities and breaking through limitations, represents the Premier League manager. This is a card that shows him rising to the top and beating other contenders.”

However, Honigman also predicts that the FA may make offers to other managers including Pep Guardiola and Frank Lampard, whilst Mauricio Pochettino is also in the running.

Honigman continued: “The Tarot suggests that offers may be made to other managers, with the Pentacles cards which stand for job offers.

“Pep Guardiola gets the 3 of Pentacles card, which is the Tarot representation of work, so he may be offered the job but doesn’t care for it at this moment.

“Frank Lampard gets the 4 of Pentacles card which is the Tarot representation of security and stability, so there could be some negotiations taking place backstage.”

Speaking of Pochettino, Honigman went on to say: “Interestingly, Pochettino gets the Tarot indecision card, the 3 of Swords, so there are some options being weighed up by him.”

Whoever becomes the England manager will have a tough job on their hands as one of the FA’s requirements is that they win a major tournament with England.

Graham Potter is the bookies favourite to take over from Southgate.
