Arsenal fans rage on Twitter after shock defeat to Swansea City

A title challenge in shambles.

Marcus Rashford and his Man United teammates didn’t help Arsenal’s title challenge one bit at the weekend, but Leicester’s draw to West Brom appeared to have let them off the hook.

A win against struggling Swansea City at home would put Arsene Wenger’s men right back in the thick of the title race.

Nothing would stand in their way this time, *surely*…

All seemed to be going to plan when Joel Campbell gave them an early lead at the Emirates, but goals from Wayne Routledge and Ashley Williams earned Swansea an unlikely victory.

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal fans were furious. The defeat appeared to have scuppered yet another once-promising title challenge.

Yet again, there were more calls for Arsene Wenger to call time on his time as manager.

Arsenal may yet be able to salvage their title dreams, but after another defeat, hopes seem to be fading fast. Perhaps Lee Dixon best summed up the feelings of Gooners everywhere with this tweet.
