There’s too much choice these days.
If we lived in an old school communist country it wouldn’t be a problem. There’d be one channel and you’d bloody well watch it or go without.
But we don’t. We live in a time where there are a dizzying array of new series, films, boxsets and documentaries to keep our minds occupied while the planet goes down the sh*tter.
If you’ve already rinsed Making a Murderer and the new series of House of Cards on Netflix and you’re chalking off the days until Game of Thrones is back on, then you might be stuck for something to watch.
Ive been given the job of choosing the movie/series to watch on Netflix… lets see what we have here

There’s a new website that does the choosing for you – so you don’t even need to think about what programme to anaesthetise your brain with next – and it’s totally free.
Enter Netflix Roulette. The site basically picks a new show or film for you at random from Netflix’s voluminous catalogue (which stands at 2,973 different videos in the UK).
If you are a little bit picky and you don’t want to end up watching reruns of Antiques Roadshow, or anything with the Kardashians in, there are filters.
You can stick in what genre you want to watch – or alternatively if you fancy watching a film containing Alan Rickman or one by directed by the Coen Brothers then just stick it in and see what comes up.
Life just got easier.
