Tensions are running high in the Champions League second round.
Paris Saint-Germain take a 2-1 advantage going into Wednesday night’s second leg at Stamford Bridge, and they’ve already taken aim at Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Brazilian-born forward has courted controversy in the past and is rarely liked by opposing fans. With PSG and Chelsea quickly developing a transcontinental rivalry of sorts, it’s no surprise that the Parisians are not Costa’s biggest fans.
After a solid showing last year in which he fired Chelsea to the Premier League title, the goals have dried up somewhat for the Spain international this season, leading some fans to label Costa as a “fraud”.
Apparently, that description has not escaped the attention of the Blues’ opponents, as they posted a vine of a series of masked, super-powered characters alongside Costa, with the caption ‘Spot the fraud’.
We guess we’ll see just how genuine he is on Wednesday night.
