Manchester United will not be adding £45m Spurs striker Harry Kane to their ranks this summer.
The Mirror report that both Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino have promised fans the 21-year-old won’t be heading ooop north.
Twenty-one-year-old star Kane has scored an impressive 32 goals for club and country in his breakthrough season so it’s no wonder United boss Louis van Gaal has been sniffing around.
But the Dutchman now looks to be turning his attention to Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.
The Metro report that a £36m bid as been tabled to bring the French star to Old Trafford.

Brendan Rodgers wants to add the 21-year-old Croatian star Mateo Kovacic to his Anfield squad, Calciomercato report.
Liverpool representative are reportedly meeting with Inter Milan’s sporting director to talk about signing their highly-rated midfielder.
The Merseysiders could bag a bargain if Inter accept £10m for the young player who is described as a mixture of Kaka and Clarence Seedorf. Nice.
