David Beckham tears into ‘attention seeking’ Arsenal fans over anti-Wenger banner

'Attention seekers'

It’s been another rough weekend for Arsenal supporters.

With their league and Champions League aspirations appearing to be all but over, Watford ended any hopes of the club keeping the FA Cup for another year with a 2-1 victory at the Emirates.

Yet again, Arsenal fans appear divided over whether or not Arsene Wenger should remain at the club’s helm – with some even becoming involved in scuffles with each other in the aftermath of their FA Cup exit.

After Ian Wright criticised the ‘Wenger out’ brigade for unfurling a banner at Hull in midweek, David Beckham also appears to have jumped to the defence of the Arsenal manager.

A post which appears to be from the former England captain’s account popped up on an Instagram post from an Arsenal fan page which showed the banner.

‘Disgraceful… No respect attention seekers,’ the comment read.
