For a team that supposedly don’t win silverware, Arsenal seem to be doing Okay after putting Aston Villa to the sword in a ruthless 4-0 FA Cup victory.
That’s trophies two seasons on the bounce for Arsene Wenger’s side – and they look like they might be making a habit out of it.
It was a historic 12th FA Cup win for Arsenal – a feat unmatched by any other team in football’s oldest cup competition.
Wenger, celebrating his sixth cup win, said his side look like a “real team” after an impressive victory over Tim Sherwood’s men who fell far short of the mark.
Theo Walcott, Per Mertesacker, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud all got on the scoresheet on a day that not even Piers Morgan could winge about.
Some people were magnanimous in victory, others got a little carried away talking about titles and the like.
All we know is Twitter was on good form…
