Ouch.
The Republic of Ireland beat Switzerland 1-0 in their friendly at the Aviva Stadium on Friday night, but it wasn’t a good night for former Wolves forward Kevin Doyle, who went off injured with a gashed leg.
When you read the term ‘gashed leg’, it probably doesn’t strike you as that bad an injury, but upon seeing the image that Doyle tweeted of the aforementioned laceration, you may change your mind.
As one of the guys in the office said, “It might be the worst looking injury I’ve ever seen.” It’s pretty frickin’ bad that’s for sure…
