The Killers have had their say on this wonderful Irish story.
The since-viral singalong that took place in Falvey’s Pub, Killorglin, Co Kerry as a tribute to Ger ‘Farmer’ Foley has been hailed as everything that is beautiful about Irish culture.
Combining music, passion, and the pub – the video is a sterling memorial to a Mr. Foley who was, by all accounts, a sterling man.
The pub’s rendition of The Killers’ Mr. Brightside has earned recognition and praised across Ireland, but last night we learned that the video had actually been seen by the band themselves, and they loved it.
Brian O'Sullivan, if Brandon ever needs a fill-in, we're calling you! May we all have friends like this #farmersrule https://t.co/mENU0pGfHr

The band had high-praise for Brian O’Sullivan, the star of the video, and further kind words for friends of Ger Foley – who celebrated their friend’s life in one of the most wonderful ways we can imagine.
Imagine the reaction if The Killers bring Brian up on stage for Mr. Brightside the next time they’re in Ireland…
