Kanye West is many things – depending on who you talk to – but most music fans would relish the chance to see Yeezy brought on as a surprise guest with A$AP Rocky.
Sadly, punters at Coachella this year were disappointed when Kanye took to the stage only to have his mic cut out on him.
The worst bit? Kanye didn’t realise and carried on performing regardless.

One theory for the microphone cutting out is that, due to A$AP Rocky starting his set late, the organisers of the American music festival decided to cut the sound in order to clear the stage for the next act.
Coachella haven’t commented on whether this is why Kanye’s mic was cut, but denying a paying crowd the chance to see Kanye and A$AP Rocky share the same stage would seem harsh… really harsh.
Festival organisers have to run a tight ship, to be fair. But, regardless of what happened and why it happened, the audience missed out on what could have been an incredible performance.
