Tyson Fury shocked the world when he claimed the heavyweight title against Wladimir Klitschko last November.
But the British world champ has now shocked the world again by announcing he is set to retire from professional boxing after the rematch.
Fury broke the news in an interview with iFL TV after watching his cousin and fellow heavyweight Hughie claim the vacant WBO Intercontinental title.
He said:
“I’ve got two and a half stone to get off and I want to get on it. It’s going to be my my last fight. I think. Sh*t or bust. All or nothing. It’s going to be my last fight win, lose, or draw. I just can’t be f*cked with it. I’m so sick of it. I’ve got no motivation to carry it on.”
The 6ft 9in fighter used Twitter to confirm why he could be retiring from the fight game after the rematch against the legendary Ukrainian on July 9 at the Manchester Arena.

The news will come as a surprise to many boxing fans with some potentially huge fights on the horizon.
Fury had been stirring the pot for potential big money bouts with the likes of WBC belt holder Deontay Wilder and new IBF champ Anthony Joshua.
But if Fury really does walk away from the game after fighting Klitschko, then a potential all-British heavyweight superfight with Joshua is in tatters.
