It’s a done deal Liverpool fans.
Liverpool have completed the signing of Brazilian international Roberto Firmino subject to a medical which will take place following his participation in the Copa America, which is currently taking place in Chile.
The Reds were amongst a number of suitors for the 23-year old, but Chief Executive Ian Ayre made sure he’ll be playing at Anfield next season after flying to Chile to complete the deal last night.

Firmino scored 47 goals in 151 appearances during a four and a half year spell at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and scored his fourth goal in nine games for Brazil in their victory over Venezuela on Sunday.
Although a fee hasn’t officially been disclosed, it is thought that Firmino will cost Liverpool in the region of £29 million.
He becomes the club’s fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Joe Gomez, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings and James Milner, and it’s certainly cause for excitement.
