It’s not Zlatan.
Jose Mourinho does love a centre-half and it seems that his first signing at Old Trafford will be Villarreal’s highly rated central defender Eric Bailly, according to reports in Spain.
The 22 year old has been one of the key players for the Yellow Submarines this season, making 34 appearances last season in all competition, and it’s believed that United aren’t looking to pay all of his €40m release clause, but somewhere around that figure
Bailly joined Villarreal from Espanyol for €5.7m and it’s reported that talks between Manchester United and the Ivorian’s representatives are currently at an advanced stage.
If #United sign Eric Bailly they're getting a powerful quick competitive CB who's raw but stood out 1st game I saw him for Espanyol

€40m is a lot for Eric Bailly, but he's very good. CB but can play across the back line. He & Victor Ruiz a superb pair last season. #MUFC
