Well, this is just plain bizarre.
Manchester United have finally unveiled their new home kit for the 2016/17 season and Red Devils supporters should be quite pleased with the finished product.
The kit may be the stuff of dreams for some football fans, but the official launch video for it is exactly the opposite.
The director of the ad decided to make it as surreal as possible. By mixing live action footage of United stars such as Ashley Young and Daley with computer animation a la Space Jam (that movie really was ahead of its time), the whole thing resembles a deleted scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Considering the amount of times this kit has been leaked, people probably weren’t going to be talking about it too much after today’s launch.
However, this video will, at the very least, give hallucinogen users football fans something to discuss in this criminally football-free period of the year.
