Ready for your daily hourly Paul Pogba update? No? Tough shit, you’re here now.
According to some, Pogba’s move to Manchester United is done, just like it has been on 327 separate other occasions throughout the summer.
As per usual, just when it seems that an announcement is imminent, along comes something to make everyone doubt that the Frenchman is heading back to Old Trafford.
The final leg of of Pogba’s summer tour of each and every one of America’s 50 states has seen him in New York City. Aside from demonstrating his kickboxing skills in the Big Apple, Pogba also appears to have been in attendance at Drake’s concert at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night.
Drake has a habit of collecting football jerseys (much in the same way that Pogba has a penchant for wearing every NBA vest under the sun), so it was no great surprise that the 23-year-old presented the rapper with a shirt when the pair met backstage after the gig.
You cant be so cool in all these shirts, They're enemies for real, @Drake know nothing about football rivals … pic.twitter.com/q72eUT6zQh

But the fact that Pogba gave him a Juventus shirt (complete with his name and number ten on the back), has spooked some United fans.

Because, y’know, a backstage meeting with Drake was always going to make or break the biggest transfer in the history of the game.
Still with us? Good. You’re far more patient than we thought.
Many United fans have also pointed out that a player giving someone a shirt means nothing, especially given that this is last season’s Juventus shirt, too.
For crying out loud, when will it end?
