No summer is complete without a transfer saga, and Manchester United have helped us out on that front for the second year running.
After the long will-he-won’t-he battle over David De Gea 12 months ago, this time United are on the buying side of things, taking an age to complete the Paul Pogba deal which has seemed inevitable for weeks.
We’ve entered the final stretch, with Pogba undergoing a medical, and in the meantime we have heard the thoughts of plenty of groups in relation to the world record transfer.
We know what Zlatan Ibrahimovic thinks. We know what Mino Raiola thinks. We even know what this nan makes of the deal.

But what about Juventus fans? How are they taking the news.
The answer, as with many such situations, is ‘well, it depends…’.
But we’ve found one Juve fan who has worked his way through each of the seven stages of grief in double-quick time.
First up, disbelief
Juve's intention is to keep Pogba at all costs, reports @SkySport

Then denial
Juve signs Pjanic and United fans think they are getting Pogba
Juve signs Benatia, Chelsea fans think they are getting Bonucci

Bargaining
Juve have a lot of midfielders. We need a striker. If we sell Pogba for €123 mill we can sign midfielders + Higuain

(Sir Alex Ferguson’s) Guilt
Don't think Pogba would return to United if Sir Alex still was the coach. Maybe not even Van Gaal. Mourinho played a big role IMO.

Anger

Depression
Gazzetta's @carlolaudisa has been good on Juve transfers the last few years. I hope he isn't right this time on Pogba.

And finally, acceptance.
It's true that you don't know what you have until it's gone. We had Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba, Tevez and Morata in one season. What a team it was.

It’s been a long road, but finally Juve fans will be able to say goodbye to their French midfielder on their own terms.
Well, they’ll be able to say that’s what they’re doing at the very least.
