And it didn’t stop there, Stevie G, who has signed for $6,332,504, also won a penalty, hit the bar and assisted the second goal in a Robbie Keane hat-trick in his first match in the North American domestic league.
Former West Ham star Sebastian Lletget joined Gerrard and Keane on the score sheet, who are already showing signs of being the most formidable duo in the MLS.
Galaxy, watched by David Beckham, came from 2-0 down to win 5-2.
