Ryanair have warned customers to beware of an online scam

Don’t get caught out.

With August coming to an end, some of you may have designs on your next trip abroad for the upcoming Autumn/Winter seasons. And with money too tight to mention for many of us, you’ll be looking for budget airline options.

But one of the biggest and most well-known budget carriers have warned of a web-based con that seems to be after your personal details. Ryanair have urged its customers to take note of the following scam that’s doing the rounds online.

As some of you may already know, the company was established in 1984 (so 32 years ago), but this fraudulent link claims to offer free flights to mark Ryanair’s 35th anniversary – and of course it is completely bogus and untrue.

The official Ryanair Twitter account felt that this issue was urgent enough to warrant this warning below.

So don’t fall for it. As the old saying goes, if something seems like it is too good to be true, that’s because it’s probably too good to be true.
