Just 12 months ago most United fans had probably never heard the name Marcus Rashford.
While the 18-year-old was doing well in the reserves, the youngster probably wasn’t considered the next great hope at Old Trafford.
But after taking his chance with both hands under Louis Van Gaal, banging in some crucial goals and even scoring on his full England debut, he’s already a United legend.
Despite new boss Jose Mourinho bringing in the big names like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the young Mancunian has continued to shine – not least digging United’s new superstars out of a tight spot against Hull with a 92nd minute winner from the bench.
So it’s no surprise that adoring United fans have a new chant for lad who is fast becoming a terrace hero around the red half of Manchester.
While we normally admire chants for their intelligence, wit or lyrical ingenuity, there are some terrace songs that you have to doff your cap to for being plain old catchy.
Rashford’s new chant is definitely the latter. It’s not big, it’s not clever, but it will be stuck in your head all day.

If you’ve not got an ear for the Manchester lilt, the words to the Rashford song are written out in plain English for you underneath.
With Rashford’s goals showing no signs of drying up, we imagine this is going to be echoing around the Streford End for many years to come – and with the Manchester derby on the horizon for boyhood United fan Rashford, we could be hearing it again very soon.
