German sides are renowned for their senses of humour on social media and Borussia Mönchengladbach have stayed true to form ahead of their clash with Celtic.
Bayern Munich are the crème de la crème of official Twitter accounts, while Bayer Leverkusen do their best to have a bit of fun too.
Mönchengladbach (and yes, that was very much copied and pasted) are well aware of the difficulty that the lexically challenged among us have in getting all fifteen characters of M-O-N-C-H-E-N-G-L-A-D-B-A-C-H out in the correct order.
‘Borussia’ is a no-go as most fans’ minds would leap to Dortmund and ‘Borussia M’ seems a bit of a cop-out.
So (CTRL+V) Mönchengladbach were kind enough to give a helping hand to Celtic supporters who may struggle to spell or pronounce the name of their Group C opponents ahead of Wednesday night’s game in Glasgow.
A sign outside a Glasgow pub initially alerted Mönchengladbach to the trouble.

And Monchengladbach quickly took measures to resolve the problem by changing their official name on Twitter for the evening that’s in it.
There you go.
It’s safe to say the gesture was appreciated by supporters.
you're the best.
