Watford are the fifth Premier League opponent to visit the new and improved Anfield this season – none so far has left with all three points.
Great rivals Manchester United were the only team thus far to take points from Jurgen Klopp’s in-form side at home and the German will be hoping for another win against Watford.
Depending on the scoreline on Merseyside and in the earlier North London Derby, Liverpool could finish the day top of the Premier League.
To this end, Klopp has stuck largely with the side that scored four away to Crystal Palace last time out. The only change to the XI being James Milner, passed fit, replacing accident waiting to happen Alberto Moreno at left full-back.
