Both Manchester United and PSG have officially announced the transfer of the Argentine winger via their Twitter accounts. The fee is £44.3m.

The sale will come as something of a relief (albeit tinged with regret) to United fans after the move became increasingly inevitable.
The player wanted to leave, Van Gaal wasn’t especially keen to keep him, and the club can now focus on bringing in Pedro from Barcelona as a very able replacement.
It is one of those rare transfers that should perhaps serve all parties well – despite the understandable bad blood at Old Trafford.
