Can you be addicted to crisps?
You may eat a lot of them. You may not be able to stop eating crisps once you’ve started. However, it’s unlikely that you’re addicted to them.
There are lots of ludicrous medical questions asked online. Google is great in that sense. It gives us a window into what medical curiosities people have. But it’s less great from the point of view of the person asking those questions because, quite simply, the answers aren’t always the most reliable.
That’s why we decided to enlist an actual, real-life doctor to answer some of the burning questions that people around the world have typed into Google.
