“It would be an honour to be a part of it, obviously.”
Get in losers, we’re getting another Mean Girls film!
Mean Girls is a movie we’ve all been quoting since it landed on the big screen back in 2004 and now, Lindsay Lohan has kind of confirmed that there will be a sequel to the hilarious comedy in the near future, but she’s not 100% sure when or what it will be.
She recently opened up on The OG Mama D podcast: “Oh, I mean, I know that they’re gonna do something, but I just don’t know exactly what yet.”
So, something is happening but of course it will be top secret for a little while… and Lindsay isn’t revealing much about whether she’s been asked to be part of the next Mean Girls chapter. She did say, however, “it would be an honour to be a part of it, obviously.”
The last time the original Mean Girls cast were together was for an online reunion in October, which saw them chat about the movie and also the presidential election.
Tina Fey, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried, were all involved in the surprise chat.
Afterwards, Lindsay spoke about the reunion saying: “We discussed how it’s been working with each other that it’s been so continuous over the years that it feels like we’re all still good friends, which was really nice, to catch up with everyone.”
Nothing is confirmed about a sequel just yet, but by the sounds of it there does seem to be something going on. How fetch.
