This Morning is much weirder than it has any right to be
Like, it is meant to be a fluffy mid-morning show, offering an inoffensive distraction for stay-at-home parents, students, and those pulling a sickie.
Instead, we get things like terrifying royal wedding swimsuits, sex robots, haunted dolls, and horny aliens.
The show celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this week, and of course, something crazy happened. Not quite horny-alien crazy, but still pretty unexpected: presenter Alison Hammond pushed a topless dude into a river on live TV.
The show brought back the floating map of the British Isles that they used to use for the weather. If you were born after about 1990, you are probably really confused right now, but anyway, that was a thing they used to have.
Alison Hammond was hopping across the big green float in Liverpool’s Royal Albert Dock, when she then tripped over a plastic model of the red Welsh dragon.
Two hench guys dressed as sailors (who were also there for some reason) tried to break her fall – but instead, she pushed one of them into the dock.
Alison Hammond pushing someone into the Albert Dock is the funniest thing i've seen all week #ThisMorning #ThisMorning30 pic.twitter.com/iE9gtQDjYU

Then Holly and Phil burst out laughing. Because 37% of every This Morning broadcast is just Holly and Phil laughing.
