Celebrities are being pulled up left and right centre
After she made a dig at Will Smith’s slapping of Chris Rock at the Oscars in a social media post, The Batman star Zoë Kravitz’s inappropriate comments about Jaden Smith have resurfaced online.
The comments are taken from an interview with V Magazine conducted back in 2013, where a 24-year-old Kravitz discussed hanging around with the Smith family while shooting After Earth, where Will and his son Jaden play the leading father-son roles.
As you can see from the comments in her cover shoot below, Kravitz said: “There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you.”

She goes on to describe her thoughts on Jaden at length, adding: “He has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, when you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out… Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”
Moreover, a red carpet interview with Extra TV a year later shows Kravitz referring to 15-year-old Jaden as her “date” for the evening and telling him not to leave after he is prompted to compliment her dress.
The then-25-year-old goes on to say, “that’s the love of my life”:

This comes after The Batman actor posted a picture of her look from the Oscars on her Instagram, along with the caption: “…where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”
While people on social media are calling for Kravitz to be held accountable, she is by no means the only one now being dragged into controversy for their past comments and or actions.
Not only has an old clip of Will mocking a bald man resurfaced online but after Jim Carrey also criticised the now Academy Award-winning King Richard star for his actions on Monday, the comedy icon’s previous inappropriate behaviour has also been highlighted.
