It’s all kicking off in Eastenders at the moment.
There was drama on Friday night when babyfaced killer Bobby Beale lashed out at mum Jane with a hockey stick, after she had tried to prevent him from leaving the house.
The graphic nature of the attack was too much for some viewers, who weren’t expecting to have their fish and chips interrupted by scenes that wouldn’t have looked out of place in a horror movie.
And the youngster was at the centre of the action on Monday night’s episode, too, as Albert Square FINALLY found out that he was responsible for Lucy Beale’s death last year.
Jane, Ian and a few others have been covering up Bobby’s crime for months, but after assaulting Jane he ran into a rammed Queen Vic and blurted it out in desperation.
Bobby confesses!!
This. Is. Huge.#EastEndershttps://t.co/XRok2PYQ6n— BBC EastEnders (@bbceastenders) May 23, 2016
The repercussions of the confession could be huge. For a start, Max Branning is currently in prison for a crime that Bobby has just told absolutely everyone he committed.
It probably won’t be long before the news spreads to his cell. It also remains to be seen what will happen to Jane, who was rushed off to hospital with presumably serious head injuries.
Here’s what the internet had to say about Bobby’s big revelation.
