Bennington and the band joined comedian/actor Ken Jeong to film an episode of the Apple Music series before the signer passed away in July.
Linkin Park’s Carpool Karaoke has been released in the memory of the band’s late frontman, Chester Bennington.
The episode was shared on Linkin Park’s Facebook page on Thursday, and a special dedication to the late musician ran at the beginning.
It read:
“With the blessing of Chester’s family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester.”
The video continues with the Hangover actor joking to Bennington that he wanted to join the band (and rename it LinKen Park), with the musician sitting beside him in the driver seat and the band’s Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn sat in the back.
The frontman said:
“We’ll see [if you can join the band].”
But the actor jokingly replied:
“It feels like a band already. We’re already fighting.”
The video shows ‘LinKen Park’ singing a number of Linkin Park hits including Numb, In The End and Talking To Myself as they drive through Los Angeles.
They also preform a number of covers, like Outkast’s Hey Ya, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Under The Bridge, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith’s I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.

Series creator James Corden previously said that the late singer’s family would decide if the episode would air.
He told the Associated Press in August:
“We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however they would like it to be handled.
“We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don’t think there’s any other way we could deal with it. It’s a tragedy.”
