NSFW warning: there’s nudity, swearing, and intense violence in the footage
While the early demo footage was revealed to a select few at the GamesCom expo earlier in August, the folks behind the game finally released a proper first look at the gameplay within Cyberpunk 2077, and expectations have promptly gone through the roof.
And not only is it an early look, but it is a full 48-minute walk through of a section of the game, according to producer Richard Borzymowski in an interview with Engadget, the entire game is now playable from start to finish.
This is a bit of a surprise for a game that was first announced in 2012, and many had believed would most likely be one of the launch titles for the next generation consoles from Sony and/or Microsoft.
That being said, there is still no set release date for Cyberpunk 2077 – the latest project from the makers of The Witcher series – but from the sci-fi first-person gaming you can see below, there is already an overwhelmingly positive reaction to what we’ve got our eyes on.
Honestly Cyberpunk 2077 makes me worry for every other development studio in general. This game is the future of what games should be. Instead of worrying about 4k and super visuals it's expanding on what a living, breathing gamescape can actually be. This IS the future of games.

Still thinking about that Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. That shit took me back to when Xbox 360/PS3 gen started when we were seeing the realization of a lot of game worlds that we thought would never be fully realized.
