Though maybe not one of the greatest episodes of The Simpsons, ‘Homerpalooza’ is one that everyone remembers.
In an effort to prove that he’s still cool, Homer takes Bart and Lisa to the Hullabalooza music festival, giving the show a chance to feature celebrity cameos from the world of alternative rock and hip hop.
Sonic Youth, The Smashing Pumpkins and Peter Frampton all make appearances, but one of the parts everyone remembers is when Cypress Hill debate whether or not they ordered the London Symphony Orchestra, leading to a classical mash-up of their hit Insane in the Membrane.

A classic Simpsons moment, Cypress Hill tweeted out a screengrab from the episode back in March, but they probably weren’t expecting the actual London Symphony Orchestra to retweet it, as they did earlier today.
We mostly play classical… but we’ll give it a shot. 🙌 @cypresshill https://t.co/2XT3Z5tVsJ

This started a thread between the two and, well, let’s just say that big things are happening.
Hold on to your hats, Simpsons fans. After 20 years, we’re about to pass from fiction into reality, and it is very exciting indeed. Even the chairman of the LSO is on board.
I do actually know insane in the brain by the way
