J Hus joins Drake on stage in London after release from prison

The rapper was sent to prison in 2018 for carrying a knife

Drake invited British rapper J Hus out on stage during his show in London on Friday night, surprising those in attendance at London’s O2 Arena.

With the words “Welcome Home” lit up across the floor of the stage, J Hus – who was arrested in Stratford, east London in June 2018 on suspicion of being in possession of a knife or bladed article – entered the stage for a rendition of his 2017 track ‘Did You See’, as Drake announced his return.

While J Hus initially pled not guilty, he later changed his plea, and wrote a letter to the judge afterward in which he apologised for his actions, saying that they “were careless”.

Last year he was nominated for a number of Brit Awards, including British Album of the Year for ‘Common Sense’.
