Bobby Beale strikes again.
If you’re an EastEnders fan and were watching last night’s show, you’ll know that Bobby attacked his mother Jane with a hockey stick.
Oh Bobby, what have you done?
Is Jane even alive?!#EastEndershttps://t.co/QbIR6YHSJd— BBC EastEnders (@bbceastenders) May 20, 2016
As viewers will remember, Bobby killed his sister Lucy last year and his parents, Jane and Ian, covered up for him.
To get back to last night’s show, Bobby lashed out at Jane after she stopped him from leaving the home and this resulted in some very violent scenes.
People have complained about the soap’s decision to show these scenes before the 9pm watershed.

Responding to the controversial sequences, an EastEnders spokesperson told The Mirror:Â
“EastEnders is a fictional drama and our millions of regular fans who tune in each week know and expect dramatic storylines.
“However, we are always mindful of our time slot in which we are shown and we ensure all scenes are editorially justified.
“The scenes in question were the crescendo of a long running storyline that has shown Bobby to have previous violent tendencies.
“Viewers will soon see Bobby arrested by Police and he and his family will be facing up to his behaviour in the most serious of ways”.
The episode came at the end of a huge week for the soap, as Walford legend Peggy Mitchell (Barbara Windsor) passed away. Actor Steve McFadden earned rave reviews for his performance as the grieving Phil Mitchell, with calls for him to be nominated for a Bafta for his efforts.
