Come on, Linda.
Eastenders viewers were left venting their frustration on Twitter last night, after the scene that saw Mick Carter dragged away in a van.
Mick, played by direct descendant of King Edward III and philosopher Danny Dyer, was abducted outside The Vic of all placed and tossed into a van by two burly looking men in hoodies.

Instead of calling the police, or screaming for help, or running outside to help, or doing literally anything at all – his wife Linda just stood and watched from her window.
Which was kinda funny, actually.

That’s not how people look when they watched their loved ones getting kidnapped. In fact, that’s the exact expression the rest of us pull when we’re watching somebody try and parallel park in the same space for the thirteenth time. No wonder viewers were left exasperated.
So, all Linda did was just breath on the glass?! 😳 Doesn’t she know how to use a phone to dial the police? #EastEnders pic.twitter.com/n2b0DpOpIY

ffs why didn’t linda open the window and screamed for help, alerting the people in the square and markets, instead of gawping through the window?? #eastenders

So did Mick and Linda lose the ability to scream so they could draw attention to the situation ?#Eastenders

It came after audiences were annoyed by Mick Carter’s ‘racist’ conversation earlier in the episode.
Not a good day for the pub landlord… not a good day at all.
