She’s the Mother of Dragons, she had to really, didn’t she?
Emilia Clarke, who you probably best know for playing Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, has got a new tattoo after the show picked up a total of nine Emmys.
The 31-year-old actor showed off the wrist tattoo on Instagram, it features silhouettes of her character’s dragons Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion in flight.
Captioning the picture, she said: “MOD 4 LYFE!!!!?@_dr_woo_made sure this mamma ain’t NEVER forgetting her babies…. ? #dontworryionlybrieflypassedout #withfyreandinkbaby #modgothookedupp#couldntbehappierifitried #? #? #❤️”

Clarke isn’t the first member of the cast to get a tat based around the show. A month or so ago Maisie Williams got inked to celebrate filming her final Game of Thrones scene. And before that Sophie Turner a wolf-themed picture on her skin as a nod to House Stark.
Fans are currently waiting with bated breath for the show’s final series to air, although it looks like it may be screened later than they hoped. Visual effects supervisor Joe Bauer recently let it slip that they won’t be in awards contention for another two years, meaning the majority of the next series won’t be airing before the end of May 2019.
